NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- Lynn Leong, the Brooks G. Ragen Director of Squash has announced that seniors Maxwell Orr and Nina Mital have been named the 2024-25 captains for the Yale men's and women's squash programs, respectively.

"Maxwell Orr and Nina Mital are exceptional leaders who command great respect from their teammates," Leong said. "They have been instrumental in keeping the team engaged and focused, especially since the start of summer training. Their strong communication skills and commitment to uniting the teams have been impressive. I'm excited to see them lead both the men's and women's squads to new heights this season."

Orr finished with a 5-5 record last season primarily out of the No. 3 position. He had his best season as a sophomore, earning First Team All-Ivy League honors and Second Team CSA All-American accolades.

Mital competed in two matches last season and four events in 2022-23. She has been a stalwart of the team since arriving on campus.

The Bulldogs will open up the 2024-25 campaign at the University of Virginia on Sunday, Nov. 17.
