NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- The Yale women's squash team picked up a major win against No. 3 Penn on Saturday at Brady Squash Center. The Bulldogs handed the Quakers their second loss this season, winning 6-3 to keep their conference championship hopes alive. Yale (6-2 overall, 4-1 Ivy League) can clinch at least a share of the Ivy League title with a win over Princeton tomorrow and a Harvard loss.
Every Bulldog player battled in their respective matches. Not a single player went down in straight games. Senior
Gigi Yeung picked up the clinching win in the No. 4 position, as she swept her opponent to give Yale its sixth straight win over Penn.
Elisabeth Ross put together an incredible performance. After falling behind 2-0, Ross fought back to win the final three games. Also earning victories for the Bulldogs were
