Krevsky Honored to Serve as Captain, Team Awards Announced

Eight Bulldogs Recognized

Max Krevsky
NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale men's lacrosse team has its leader for 2024-25. Max Krevsky, who earned All-America recognition from both Inside Lacrosse and USA Lacrosse this spring, has been elected captain of the 2024-25 Bulldogs.

"I am so honored to have been selected to lead this team by a collection of such amazing individuals," Krevsky said. "My teammates are great men and fierce competitors, so to have the opportunity to lead is not something I take lightly. I hope to lead by example on and off the field by adhering to the principles and characteristics of the Yale Lacrosse program - motivated, strong, and humble.  And by doing so, inspire my teammates to do the same."

Krevsky is coming off a strong junior season that saw him earn first team All-Ivy recognition. He appeared in all 15 games and was fourth on the team in goals (27) and points (33). His top performance came at Penn State when he scored four goals. He also had four points in the win over Le Moyne. In his career, he has played in 36 games and has 42 goals and 10 assists.

"I'm excited for Max," said Andy Shay, The Forst Family Head Coach of the Bulldogs. "It is a tremendous honor that I know he will take very seriously. He has learned a great deal from [previous captains] Brian, Bryce, and Patrick and I expect he will use what he learned to carve his own leadership style."

Krevsky of Harrisburg, Pa., is already excited for next spring,

"Preparations are starting now to ensure we are in the best mental and physical shape possible entering the start of next season," said Krevsky, who will be working this summer with BSE Global and the Brooklyn Nets as a marketing operations intern. "This offseason is very important for us as we lose a prominent senior class that provided extensive leadership and experience. By the time February 1st comes around, I hope we are able to say to each other that we worked as hard as we could and have done everything possible to put ourselves in the best position entering the 2025 season."
