NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The honors continue to come in for Mia Levy. Levy, who earned first team All-America recognition last week, has been named a finalist for the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association Division I Athlete of the Year.
 
This spring Levy earned first team All-Ivy recognition sitting in the varsity eight that won a bronze medal at the Ivy League Championship. She earned All-America recognition for the second straight season and last summer she was selected as the USRowing Under-23 Female Athlete of the Year after helping the United States eight win a gold medal at the World Rowing Under 23 Championships
 
"Mia is super talented athlete who is also a great person," said Will Porter, The Friends of YWC Head Coach of the Bulldogs. "She brings out the best in her teammates."
 
In its third year, the Athlete of the Year award provides a unique opportunity for the CRCA to acknowledge and recognize the individual efforts, impactful actions, and remarkable outcomes achieved over the academic year—a span during which these student-athletes have undeniably left a positive impact on their respective teams.
 
Yale's Margaret Hedeman '23 was a finalist last year.
