Edward Liao cruised to a 6-0, 6-2 win over Cornell's Aman Sharma, and
Renaud Lefevre needed three sets to defeat Penn State's Sam Bossem.
In doubles, Lefevre teamed with
Luke Neal to edge Penn State's Alexander Sterin and Denys Forgaci 7-5
The tournament continues on Saturday on the Yale Outdoor Courts.
