COLUMBUS. OHIO – The Yale men's swimming and diving team continued competing at the Ohio State Invitational on Thursday, where
Nick Finch highlighted day three with a standout performance in the 50-yard freestyle, posting a personal-best time of 18.96 — the eighth-fastest mark in the country this year.
The Results
- 100-yard Backstroke: Manoli Mountantonakis placed ninth in the B final, finishing with a time of 47.60.
- 200-yard Breaststroke: Charlie Egeland earned 10th place in the A final, recording a time of 1:57.90.
- 500-yard Freestyle: Noah Millard secured 10th place in the A final.
- 50-yard Freestyle:
- Finch delivered a strong performance, finishing second in the A final with a time of 18.96.
- Jake Wang placed seventh in the B final with a time of 19.90.
- 400-yard Medley Relay: The A team of Wang, Egeland, Finch, and Millard finished seventh with a time of 3:07.39, landing in the top 10.
- 3M Dive: Nicholas Chau placed eighth in the B final with a score of 296.40.
