NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale men's tennis team picked up a pair of wins at home on Saturday, taking down Penn State (7-0), and Buffalo (4-3).

In doubles, Yale's No. 3 duo of
Jim Ji and
Jason Shuler defeated Reiya Hattori and Marcus Schoeman. That victory coupled with
Renaud Lefevre and
Krish Gupta winning at No. 2 earned the doubles point.
In singles,
Vignesh Gogineni (No. 1), Ji (No. 2),
Eric Li (No. 3), Shuler (No. 4),
Edward Liao (No. 5) and Gupta (No. 6) all picked up wins.

Yale def. Buffalo (4-3)
Buffalo took the doubles point behind a pair of victories at the No. 2 and 3 spots. Liao and Gogineni picked up a 6-2 win for the Bulldogs at the No. 1 position.
The Bulldogs came back strong in singles, winning four of the five completed contests. Gogineni won in straight sets at the No. 1 position and Yale swept No. 4-6 with straight-set victories by Shuler (No. 4), Liao (No. 5) and Gupta (No. 6). All four went 2-0 on the day in singles for Yale.
