INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Members of the Yale swimming and diving team have secured their spots in the postseason and will compete at the 2025 NCAA Championships in Federal Way, Wash., as announced by the NCAA on Wednesday, March 12.
Six members of the men's squad have qualified to compete:
• Noah Millard – 500 free, 200 free, 1650 free
• Nick Finch – 50 free, 100 fly, 100 free
• Lucius Brown – 200, 400, and 800 free relays; 400 medley relay
• Deniel Nankov – 200, 400, and 800 free relays; 400 medley relay
• Jake Wang – 200, 400, and 800 free relays; 400 medley relay
• Charlie Egeland – 200, 400, and 800 free relays; 400 medley relay
Millard captured titles in both the 500 and 1650-yard freestyle at the Ivy League Championships. Finch also claimed gold in the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard butterfly. Brown, Finch, and Nankov were key members of the 200-yard medley relay team that won gold at Ivies. Additionally, Finch, Nankov, Brown, and Millard secured victory in the 200-yard freestyle relay, while Finch, Nankov, Wang, and Millard triumphed in the 400-yard freestyle relay.
On the women's side, divers Paige Lai and Lily Horenkamp competed at the NCAA Zone A Diving Championships earlier in the week.
Lai qualified for the NCAA Championships in both the 1-meter and 3-meter diving events after finishing within the top 12 on the 3-meter board. Horenkamp placed fifth with a score of 571.30, while Lai followed closely in seventh with a score of 561.70, securing her spot in the NCAA 1-meter event.
