NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale men's hockey program has announced the recipients of the 2024-25 season team awards.
In addition to honoring their senior class, awards were passed out at their end of season banquet and were presented by Malcolm G. Chace Head Coach

Arlen Marshall, and
Bill Maniscalco.
The senior class is made of Captain

Dylan Herzog,
Connor Sullivan,
Briggs Gammill,
Kieran O'Hearn, and
Luke Pearson.

2024-25 Yale Hockey Association Awards
Martin Dwyer III Award - Presented by the Yale Hockey Association to the most outstanding first-year player of the Yale hockey team.
Micah Berger '28, F
John Poinier Award - Presented by the Yale Hockey Association to the best defensive player on the Yale hockey team.
Kieran O'Hearn '25, D
Yale Hockey Coaches Award - Presented to that member of the Yale Hockey team whose determination and desire have contributed most to team morale and the spirit of hockey at Yale.
Briggs Gammill '25, F
David C. Noyes III Award - Presented by the Yale Hockey Association to the member of the Yale hockey team whose performance and attitude has most inspired his teammates through determination, grit and courage.
Donovan Frias '28, F
J. Murray Murdoch Award - Presented by the Yale Hockey Association to the member of the Yale hockey team deemed the most valuable player.
William Dineen '25, F
Edward M. Wright, M.D. Award - For athletic and academic accomplishments, leadership and dedication to the higher purposes of intercollegiate athletics. This award is based equally on two factors: success on the ice and success in the classroom.
David Chen '26, F
Malcom G. Chace Award - Presented by the Yale Hockey Association to the member of the Yale hockey team who, through sportsmanship, spirit, and ability, has best served the finest traditions of Yale hockey as exemplified by Malcom G. Chace.
Will Richter '27, F
Virginia Dale Hird Award - Presented by the Yale Hockey Association to "commemorate her years of dedicated service to Yale University and friendship with Yale students."
