Vaughn Chosen for WLL All-Star Game

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Midfielder Fallon Vaughn '25 of the Yale women's lacrosse team has been chosen for the Women's Lacrosse League All-Star Game. The league announced the selections on Tuesday night. Vaughn was chosen for Team Izzy, named for captain and two-time Tewaaraton Award winner Izzy Scane. She and her teammates will face Team North, named for captain and two-time Tewaaraton Award winner Charlotte North. Vaughn was the 30th overall pick.

The Women's Lacrosse League is owned and operated by the Premier Lacrosse League. The league began play earlier in 2025 using a 6v6 format as part of the Championship Series. The league's four teams are the Boston Guard, California Palms, Maryland Charm and New York Charging.

For the WLL All-Star Game rosters, coaches and captains chose from active WLL players, 2025 NCAA graduates (like Vaughn) and national team players. The game will take place at CPKC Stadium in Kansas City on July 4 as part of the PLL and WLL's All-Star Weekend. The game will feature the league's first competition in the 10v10 format.

Vaughn, one of the most decorated players in Yale women's lacrosse history, led the Bulldogs to an Ivy League Tournament Championship and a spot in the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals for the second season in a row.

She has earned All-America recognition from ILWomen for three years and USA Lacrosse for two years. She was a second team IWLCA All-America pick last year; that organization announces this year's All-Americans on Thursday. This year Vaughn earned first team All-Northeast Region recognition from the IWLCA. That was the third IWLCA All-Northeast Region honor of her career. Last year she was named Ivy League Midfielder of the Year. Vaughn has earned four first team All-Ivy honors, making her the third Bulldog to accomplish that feat and the first since Lauren Taylor '08.

Vaughn's list of honors this year also includes being one of three Tewaaraton Award nominees from the Ivy League. She was fourth in the league in points (50-30-80), was seventh in the league in goals (50) and was seventh in the league in assists (30). She was fourth on the team in draw controls (42).

Vaughn started all 74 games of her career. She ranks second on Yale's career caused turnovers list (82), third on Yale's career assists list (80), sixth on Yale's career goals list (148) and sixth on Yale's career draw controls list (151). She  is a graduate of Concord-Carlisle High.
