NEW HAVEN, Conn. – This summer, the Bulldogs are embarking on experiences away from the Yale campus. Check in with some members of the Yale softball team and see how they are spending their summer break.
This week, hear from rising sophomore
Sienna Reynolds to see what she is up to!
This summer, I studied at Yale in London – an immersive six-week program hosted by the Paul Mellon Centre for Studies in British Art. The classes were fascinating and explored migration through the lens of literature, film, and art. My favorite part has been class trips to museums and important neighborhoods around London. We have also enjoyed musicals, dinners, and boat rides as part of the program. In my free time, I have been attending concerts (Billie Eilish, Sabrina Carpenter, Beabadoobee, Clairo, Lana del Rey), shopping, eating many different types of food, and, of course, drinking tea! I have also been taking Pilates and yoga classes, working on speed training, and weightlifting. I have joined the Heat Softball Club UK and have played some games on the weekend.Â
Before going to London, I spent a month at home in California with my family and friends, squeezing in as much time as possible in the sun at the beach, exploring LA with friends, and spending time with my dogs Vinny and Nilla.
