Bulldogs Picked to Finish Seventh in Ivy League Preseason Poll

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Yale Bulldogs men's soccer team were selected to finish seventh in the Ivy League's preseason poll. The voting is conducted by media and league communications directors.

Defending regular season conference champions, Penn, earned 10 first-place votes to top the poll. Princeton was chosen to finish second and tallied five first-place votes. Cornell received one first-place vote in the third slot.

The Bulldogs, who finished eighth last season, were picked to finish seventh in 2025. Brown was picked to finish fourth, followed by Dartmouth, Harvard, and Columbia

Yale finished with a 1-6 conference record in 2024. The Bulldogs return nine players who played in at least 10 games last season and have brought in a strong recruiting class.

Yale kicks off its season at home on Friday, Aug. 29 against Sacred Heart.
