NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale Gymnastics team is set to open its 2026 campaign at Penn State on Sunday, Jan. 11. The Bulldogs will compete at 10 regular season meets as well as the Gymnastics East Conference Championship to wrap up the season.
Looking Back
Last season, the Bulldogs finished second in the Gymnastics East Conference for the third straight season. Yale recorded a National Qualifying Score of 194.305, the fourth-highest mark in program history. Hailey Kriz was named GEC Newcomer of the Year, and in total, 10 Bulldogs earned All-GEC recognition.
Moving Forward
The Bulldogs will return a strong core, including First Team All-GEC honorees Gigi Sabatini, Ella Tashjian, Ellie Kearns, and Lauren Luu. Sabatini will serve as the captain of the 2026 squad.
New Faces
Yale welcomes four newcomers to the team: Annie Bilbe, Ella Hargreaves, Eva Rosenberg, and Ashley Stafford.

The Bulldogs will host four events at Payne Whitney Gymnasium this season:
• Jan. 18 vs. Brown
• Jan. 25 vs. UNH (Tonry Invitational)
• Feb. 7 vs. SCSU (Senior Meet)
• Feb. 22 vs. Penn, Brown, Cornell (Ivy Classic)
