Recker’s Record Highlights Bulldogs’ Performance at YDC Meet

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – A record-breaking performance by senior Nolan Recker highlighted the first competition of 2026 for the Yale men's track and field team Saturday at Coxe Cage. Taking on Ivy League rivals Columbia and Dartmouth in their annual tri-meet, the Bulldogs got six first-place finishes. They totaled 49 points, placing third behind Columbia (72) and Dartmouth (54).

  • Sophomore Otis Irwin earned the win in the 500m (1:03.06).

  • Yale first-years took three of the top four spots in the 60m, led by Graham Houghton (6.87).
