DANBURY, Conn. -- The Yale women's ice hockey team picked up a pair of weekly awards from ECAC Hockey, as announced by the conference on Tuesday morning. First year Molly Boyle earned ADAPT Nutrition Defender of the Week laurels, while classmate Samson Frey took home Rookie of the Week accolades.

Boyle earned weekly honors for the second week in a row. The first year netted the game-winning goal and tallied an assist in the Bulldogs' 5-4 win over Clarkson on Friday. On Saturday against St. Lawrence, Boyle took advantage of the power play, finding teammate Carina DiAntonio for the Bulldogs' second goal of the night. She went on to tally another assist, bringing her season total to 28 points—the most by an ECAC defender during conference play.

Frey continued an excellent stretch in goal for the Bulldogs. The New York native improved to 13-0 on the year, making a total of 48 saves for a .906 save percentage over the weekend. Frey allowed five goals across the Bulldogs' 5-4 win over Clarkson and 4-1 win over St. Lawrence. So far this season, Frey has made 258 saves on 273 shots for a .945 save percentage.

Yale is two wins away from matching the program's longest winning streak heading into this weekend, when the Bulldogs will travel to Princeton and Quinnipiac.
