Seven Bulldogs Earn All-Ivy Honors

PRINCETON, N.J. – Seven members of the Yale men's and women's squash teams earned All-Ivy recognition, as announced by the conference on Thursday afternoon. Tad Carney and Heng Wai Wong landed on the first team, while Spring Ma, Arav Bhagwati, Lachlan Sutton and Rohan Arya Gondi earned second-team honors. Whitney Taylor and Carney were recognized as Academic All-Ivy honorees.

Carney earned first-team accolades for the second consecutive year. The senior captain went 8-2 during the regular season at the top position for the men's squad. Sutton and Bhagwati achieved all-conference laurels for the second time, playing out of the No. 2 and No. 3 positions, respectively. Both have picked up four wins this season. Sophomore Rohan Arya Gondi earned his first All-Ivy accolade, posting an 8-2 record.

Wong has been a stalwart at the No. 1 position for the women's team. She earned first-team honors for the second time, tallying four wins against some of the best competition in the nation. Wong also reached the semifinals of the CSA Individual Championships in January. Ma received second-team status for the second time. She is second on the team in wins with five.
