NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The No. 14 Yale women's lacrosse team plays at No. 5 Michigan Saturday (1:00 p.m., B1G+, Live Stats). This is Yale's first game vs. a ranked opponent this season. The Bulldogs were 8-3 vs. ranked opponents last year, including a win vs. the Wolverines.

How to Watch B1G+
The Bulldogs
  • Yale beat BU 17-5 last Saturday at Reese Stadium. The Bulldogs outscored the Terriers 8-1 in the fourth quarter to pull away for the win.
  • Yale is ranked No. 5 in the nation in scoring defense (6.00 goals allowed per game).
  • Yale is one of 14 undefeated teams left in the nation.
  • Yale has had at least 13 draw controls in all three games this season.
  • Sophomore goalkeeper Niamh Pfaff (Garden City, N.Y.) is No. 12 nationally in save percentage (.514).
  • First-year midfielder Kate Gould (Nyack, N.Y.) was named Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week on Monday. Gould totaled six goals, eight assists and 19 draw controls in Yale's two wins last week.
  • The last time Yale faced an opponent ranked No. 5 in the country was when the Bulldogs played Princeton in the Ivy League Tournament championship game May 4, 2025. Yale (ranked No. 7 at the time) won that game 17-6.
  • Yale is ranked in three national polls:
    • #14 in the ILWomen poll
    • #16 in the IWLCA poll
    • #17 in the USA Lacrosse poll
  • Senior defender Emmy Pascal (Lorton, Va.), Yale's captain, has received multiple honors already:
