NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Yale women's soccer senior
Logan Jacobs earned postseason recognition from the New England Intercollegiate Soccer Association (NEWISA), as announced by the organization. She was named to the 2025 NEWISA All-New England Third Team.
The All-New England Team, voted on by NCAA Division I coaches from colleges and universities across New England, consists of a First Team, Second Team, and Third Team.
"The 2025 NEWISA All-New England Team highlights the best student-athletes from colleges and universities in the region," said NEWISA President Tom McGuinness. "These players represent many of the most talented collegiate players in the country. They have pushed their teams to success on the field and we are proud to recognize them for all they have achieved. NEWISA congratulates all these players for a tremendous season."
Jacobs served as a cornerstone of the Bulldogs' midfield this season, earning First-Team All-Ivy honors and Ivy League recognition for the second consecutive year. A native of Avon, Conn., she started 13 matches and played the full 90 minutes in 10 contests. Jacobs came through in key moments, tallying assists in consecutive games against Fordham and Brown. She concluded her Yale career with over 3,800 minutes played, leaving a lasting mark as a consistent and influential leader for the Bulldogs.
The 2025 NEWISA All-New England Team was chosen following a nomination and voting process. Each team contains four forwards, four center midfielders, four defenders and one goalkeeper. Voting ties expanded some teams.
