NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Following a historic performance at the Ivy League Championships, six members of the Yale men's swimming and diving team have secured their spots in the postseason and will compete at the 2026 NCAA Championships at McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta, Georgia, hosted by Georgia Tech.

Millard, a three-time Ivy League champion in the 500 freestyle, secured gold and qualified for the event with a pool-record time of 4:10.19 at the championships. He also earned a trip to Georgia in the 1650 freestyle, finishing second with a time of 14:41.76. Millard is an Honorable Mention All-American in the 500 freestyle after a top-10 finish in the event last season, and he also earned First Team All-American honors in the 1650 freestyle with a fourth-place finish.
Finch delivered historic performances at the league championships, punching his ticket in the 50 freestyle in style by winning gold with a pool and Ivy meet record time of 18.82, which also tied the team and league records. He followed that with another gold medal in the 100 butterfly, setting an Ivy League record with a time of 44.34 and earned silver in the 100 freestyle (41.84). The sophomore previously earned Honorable Mention All-American honors in the event last season after finishing 11th.
The Bulldog relays delivered stellar performances at the Ivy League Championships. The 200 medley relay captured gold with a record-breaking time of 1:23.55, setting Ivy League, team, and pool records while also securing its place in the event. The 400 medley relay also claimed gold, finishing in an Ivy League record time of 1:16.41. Meanwhile, the 800 freestyle relay (6:13.92 – team record), 200 freestyle relay (1:16.41 – team record), and 400 freestyle relay (2:49.46) each earned silver-medal finishes.
