NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Three members of the Yale men's track and field team have earned spots in the NCAA East First Round meet, which takes place May 27 and 29 at Kentucky. The meet determines selections for the NCAA Championships, set for June 10 and 12 at Oregon.
For each individual event contested at each of the First Round sites, the top 48 declared student-athletes per gender are accepted. There are two First Round sites, with the NCAA West First Round competition taking place at Arkansas.
The top 12 competitors or relay teams in each event at each First Round site will advance to the final Championships site, Oregon's Hayward Field.
