NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale men's soccer team was named a recipient of the United Soccer Coaches Academic Award, the organization announced Friday. The Bulldogs earned the honor in recognition of their outstanding academic performance during the 2025-26 academic year.
 
A total of 777 soccer teams (326 men, 451 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2025-26 academic year. Of that total, 175 schools had both their men's and women's programs recognized.
 
United Soccer Coaches annually celebrates the academic achievements of teams whose student-athletes collectively demonstrate a commitment to excellence in their studies over the course of a full academic year.
