Bulldogs Held To Four Hits

FULLERTON, Calif. – Yale ran into another very hot team on its tour through Southern California. Cal State Fullerton extended its winning streak to six with an 8-0 victory over the Bulldogs at the beautiful Anderson Family Field.

The Titans (19-8) scored three times in the first and added five more in the second to seize control.

The Bulldogs (2-8) were limited to four hits, singles by Brittany Labbadia, Lauren Delgadillo, Sydney Glover and Sydney Ginsberg.

Freshman Terra Jerpbak pitched 2.1 innings of scoreless relief for Yale.

The Bulldogs' best scoring chance came in the fifth. With two outs, Glover and Ginsberg both singled and then advanced to second and third in a wild pitch, but Fullerton pitcher Jasmine Antunez retired the next hitter to end the game.

Yale travels a little further down the California coast to meet San Diego on Wednesday. The first pitch is slated for 1:30 p.m. PDT.
