BOSTON, Mass. – The Yale men's heavyweight crew sent a pair of eights to the 53rd annual Head of the Charles Regatta today, and one of the Bulldog boats took second in the college championship division.

The boat led by captain Paul Jacquot, who was in the eighth seat, finished at 13:30.15 (3rd in the men's championship eight division), which was about three seconds behind the time of California, which took the top spot.

Yale's other vessel crossed the finish line at 14:08.53, good for 18th among men's championship eight schools on a picture perfect day for racing on the famous New England river.
