NCAA Cancels Remaining Winter and Spring Championships

Today, NCAA President
Mark Emmert and the Board of Governors canceled the Division I men's and women's 2020 basketball tournaments, as well as all remaining winter and spring NCAA championships.

With further developments in the outbreak of COVID-19, the Ivy League Presidents are announcing their unanimous decision to cancel all spring athletics practice and competition through the remainder of the academic year.

With the health of students as well as the campus and the general community in mind, the Ivy League Presidents have decided to cancel the upcoming Ivy League Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments. The League's regular season champions, Princeton women and Yale men, are the automatic qualifiers to the NCAA Tournaments.
