FARMINGDALE, N.Y. – After two days and three rounds at the 2021 Doc Gimmler Invitational, the Yale Men's Golf Team finished in a fourth-place tie with host St. John's.
The Bulldogs shot 276, 286 and 289 for an 11-over par 851, which was six strokes behind first-place Columbia.
Yale's top player in this event was junior
Sho Wai Wu, who fired a 2-under 70-68-70 (208) to tie for third place, while first-year
Ben Carpenter tied for 12
th with a 212 overall.
The Elis are next competing when they host the MacDonald Cup at the Yale Golf Course on Sept. 25-26.
