GREENWOOD, IN. – Six members of the Yale women's soccer team were selected to the 2022 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Women's Soccer Academic All-District

Chloe Laureano, and sophomores
Alanna Butcher,
Ellie Rappole,
Rebeka Róth, and
Nana Yang.
The 2022 Academic All-District® Women's Soccer Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
- Winkler, a dual major in economics and molecular, cellular, and developmental biology, was named Academic All-Ivy on November 9. The senior played in 15 games, starting six, and recorded a goal, one assist and 17 shots.
- Laureano, a psychology major, started and played in all 15 games for the Bulldogs and notched two assists.
- Butcher, a neuroscience major, played in 15 games and started 11. The sophomore netted a goal and had 13 shots.
- Rappole, a chemical engineering major, started 10 games and played in 14. The Winchester, Mass. native had three goals, a team-leading three assists, and 24 shots.
- Róth, a statistics and data science major, earned Second Team All-Ivy honors on November 9 for her play on the field. The Budapest, Hungary native started in all 15 games and played 1,302 minutes out of the total 1,350 minutes of the season, while contributing an assist and 12 shots on goal.
- Yang, an economics major, started all 15 games for the Bulldogs and was an integral member of the back line, playing 1,280 minutes.
About the Award
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early December. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
