NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale women's tennis team hits the road for the first time this spring, traveling to the Midwest to face Indiana on Saturday at 2 p.m. and Notre Dame on Sunday at 10 a.m. The Indiana match was originally scheduled for Friday at 5 p.m. but was pushed back to Saturday.

The Bulldogs opened with a pair of wins two weeks ago, knocking off Boston University 6-1 on Jan. 22 and Quinnipiac 7-0 the next day. Over the course of the two matches, Yale dropped just four sets in singles. Mirabelle Brettkelly was particularly dominant at the No. 4 singles position, cruising to straight-set victories in both of her matches. In doubles, Yale's No. 1 team of Chelsea Kung and Jessie Gong lost just four games in their two impressive victories.

Indiana opened its season last Sunday, falling to Utah 5-2. Notre Dame (3-2) has already played five matches. The Irish was in California last weekend for the ITA Kickoff Weekend. Notre Dame beat Colorado 4-1 but fell to Pepperdine 4-0.

Next up for the Bulldogs will be the ECAC Championships on Feb. 11-13 at Cornell.
