MIAMI, Fla. – The Yale women's tennis team posted another impressive road victory, knocking off Florida International 4-2. The Bulldogs have won four straight matches.
This one didn't come easily. FIU won the doubles point to grab the lead.
In singles,
Mirabelle Brettkelly cruised to a 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 3 to get Yale on the board.
The Bulldogs' three other points all came in three-set singles victories.
Rhea Shrivastava won her deciding set convincingly 6-0 at No. 4. At No. 5,
Vivian Cheng rallied after dropping the first set 6-1. She won the second set 6-1 and the third set 6-4. At No. 6,
Jamie Kim split the first two sets and then captured the third set 6-2.
Yale concludes its spring break Florida trip at Central Florida on Thursday.
