CHARLESTON, S.C. -- The Yale coed sailing team finished third overall at the Intercollegiate Sailing Association (ICSA) Match Race Championships over the weekend.

The Bulldogs topped Georgetown in the consolation finals 2-1 on Sunday afternoon to lock up third place overall. The team raced well throughout the weekend and had its best day on Day 1, going undefeated. Brown finished as the overall champion, beating Coast Guard in the finals.

Morgan Pinckney skippered for the Bulldogs with crew members Megan Grimes, Nathan Sih and Nicholas Davies.

Yale will break for the winter and return in the spring for its championship season.
