About the Regatta
The Carnegie Cup was dedicated 102 years ago, and has seen Yale, Princeton, and Cornell compete annually for the cup.
Â
About Lake Carnegie
Lake Carnegie was the gift of steel magnate Andrew Carnegie, who gave the funds at the behest of Howard Russell Butler, Princeton Class of 1876, a portrait painter for whom Carnegie sat in 1902. Initially, Lake Carnegie was owned by a nonprofit organization, but in 1934 it was deeded to Princeton University.

Hear From Rush
"The Princeton-Cornell race is always very competitive," said senior
Nick Rusher. "It is the seniors' last dual race, so that is something we have been preparing for all week. We are really excited to test our speed and ultimately lay it all out there tomorrow."
