PRINCETON, N.J. – Senior Marisa Shorrock of the Yale women's soccer team has been named the Ivy League Co-Defensive Player of the Week after her performances in a pair of the Bulldogs' season-opening games.
 
The goalkeeper helped the Bulldogs to a 1-0-1 opening weekend of play. After starting both matches, she posted three saves in a 2-2 draw against Sacred Heart before capping the weekend with a seven-save performance in the team's win over UMass.
 
Yale returns to action on Thursday, Aug. 31 at the University of Washington.
