HAMILTON, N.Y. – In their first competition of the 2023-24 season, the Yale men's golf team captured a victory at the Alex Lagowitz Memorial Invitational, hosted by Colgate at the Seven Oaks Golf Club.

The Bulldogs shot -11 under par, winning by 17 shots over the second-place opponent. Yale shot a 281 in round one, a 283 in round two, and then a 289 in round three for a total of 853.

Notes
- Blake Brantley and Will Lodge shared co-champion honors, shooting a -6 under par to help catapult Yale to victory.
- Gabriel Ruiz (T-9), Robert You (T-13), and Sam Davis (T-19) all finished in the top 20.
- Ruiz shot a plus-2, while You shot a plus-4 and Davis shot a plus-6.
- The squad has placed in the top five in all four of its appearances at the Lagowitz Memorial Invitationals: 2023 (first place), 2022 (second place), 2021 (first place), and 2019 (fourth place).
