PRINCETON, N.J. -- Four members of the Yale men's soccer team were lauded with Ivy League year-end awards as announced by the conference on Wednesday afternoon.
Senior captain
TJ Presthus was named First Team All-Ivy League to wrap up a brilliant collegiate career as a Bulldog. The 2023 Ivy League Defensive Player of the Year was once again a stalwart on the back line for the Elis, starting all 16 games. He finished second on the team in goals (4) and third in minutes (1,382). Presthus concluded his tenure as a Bulldog as a four-time All-Ivy selection. He started every game of his remarkable four-year career.
Fellow seniors
Quanah Brayboy and
Chris Edwards earned All-Ivy Honorable Mention accolades. Brayboy was a catalyst in the midfield for the Bulldogs, leading the team in assists (3) and finishing third in goals (3). Edwards earned his second consecutive all-conference selection after finishing on the second team last season. The Bulldogs goalkeeper started all but one game in net for Yale, registering one shutout and 59 saves.
Midfielder
Jonathan Seidman was the team's Academic All-Ivy recipient.
