NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The three-time defending Ivy League champion Bulldogs tied a program-record for the second straight year with six All-Ivy selections, the conference office announced on Thursday afternoon.

Carly Diehl and sophomore outside hitter
Betsy Goodenow earned spots on the All-Ivy First team, while middle blockers junior
Gigi Barr and sophomore
Laurece Abraham were named to the second team. Sophomore libero
Arya Jue and senior outside hitter
Mila Yarich were selected as All-Ivy Honorable Mention. Junior
Halle Sherlock was named as the Bulldogs' Academic All-Ivy recipient.Â
Diehl, of San Diego, Calif., was a unanimous selection after leading the Ivy League in assists per set (11.43) and ranking among the top-six in service aces per set (3
rd, 0.43) and hitting percentage (6
th, .341). Diehl, who has earned All-Ivy status in all four years at Yale, also averaged 1.81 digs per set in conference play as well as 1.19 kills per set while playing the setter position for an offense that led the Ivy League in kills per set.Â
Goodenow, of Lenexa, Kan., was a two-time Ivy League Player of the Week this season and ranked fourth in the conference in points per set (4.04). Goodenow, last season's Ivy Rookie of the Year and second-team selection, also ranked in the conference top-10 in kills per set (5
th, 3.45), hitting percentage (9
th, .311) and digs per set (10
th, 2.45).Â
Barr, of Elmhurst, Ill., earned an All-Ivy selection for the third straight season. Barr ranked in the top-eight in the Ivy League in hitting percentage (4
th, .404), points per set (8
th, 3.55) and kills per set (8
th, 3.06).
Abraham, of Ann Arbor, Mich., was among the most accurate hitters in both the Ivy League and the nation. She ranks seventh in the nation in hitting percentage, and during the Ivy League season hit .415 against conference opponents while also was among the top-10 in blocks per set (0.83).
Jue, of Marietta, Ga., had a breakout season for the Bulldogs on defense and had 12 more digs in nine of her 12 conference matches. Jue ranked third in the Ivy League in digs per set (3.67) including a season-best 20 against Brown.
Yarich, of Tampa, Fla., was named to an All-Ivy team for the third straight season. Yarich ranked third in the Ivy League in service aces per set (0.43) while also averaging over two digs per set and nearly two kills per set with 17 total blocks.
Sherlock, an economics major, earned Academic All-Ivy laurels for the first time in her collegiate career.Â
The Bulldogs will aim for the third straight Ivy League post-season tournament title this weekend. Yale will face Cornell on Friday at 7 p.m. in Princeton, N.J.
