HANOVER, N.H. - The Yale University women's tennis team claimed seven victories during day two of the Big Green Invitational. The Bulldogs faced off against all opponents from Rutgers in today's action to start the day and then squared off against Dartmouth in doubles action.
Singles Results
- Rebecca Lynn claimed her second singles win in as many days with a 6-4, 7-6 victory over Karina Jumazhanova.
- Ann Wright Guerry claimed a straight set win over Mai Nguyen, 7-5, 7-5.
- Erin Ha defeated Minchae Kim by scores of 7-6, 6-1.
- Angela Huang downed Zeynep Ilker 4-6, 6-2, 10-7.
- Sophia Zaslow lost to Jackeline Lopez, 6-0, 6-2.
Doubles Results
- Huang and Wright Guerry defeated Lopez and Jumazhanova of Rutgers, 6-4. They followed with a 6-3 win over Lauren Han and Caroline Lemcke.
- Ha and Orly Ogilvy lost to Rutgers' Nguyen and Zuzanna Frankowska, 7-5. However, they went on to defeat Lexi Dewire and Elise Wong, 6-1.
- Lynn and Zaslow fell to Kim and Cindy Zhou of Rutgers, 6-4. The tandem also lost to Sam Grosjean and Valentina Cruz, 6-0.
The Bulldogs return to action for day three of the Big Green Invitational on Sunday.
