NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale men's lacrosse team takes a break from Ivy League play to host Le Moyne on Tuesday night. The opening faceoff is set for 7 p.m. at Reese Stadium, and ESPN+ has the video.

• The Bulldogs (4-2) are coming off a hard-fought 18-15 loss at Cornell on Saturday.
Matt Brandau scored five goals and added two assists to lead Yale.
Thomas Bragg and
Carson Kuhl both had three goals. The game was close throughout as the Big Red led 7-6 at halftime and 12-11 heading into the fourth quarter.

• Yale is ranked No. 10 in the USILA national poll and No. 11 in the Inside Lacrosse poll.

• The Bulldogs are No. 1 in the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) poll, receiving eight first-place votes. Boston University, ranked second, and No. 4 Quinnipiac each received one first-place nod.Â

• Brandau's 131 career assists are eight shy of Ben Reeves (2015-18) school record.

• Brandau continues to lead the nation in assists per game (4.33) and points per game (7.0).

Andy Shay, the Forst Family Head Coach of the Bulldogs, is a 1994 graduate of Le Moyne College where he was a four-year starting defenseman and served as team captain for two years. He was an All-Empire League selection as a senior when he led the team to a league title.

SCOUTING Le MOYNE

The Dolphins (2-5) are in their first year as a Division I program. Le Moyne is coming off a 9-7 loss to St. John's in its home opener on Saturday. Isaac Frechette and Seth Benedict both scored two goals. Le Moyne's 2023 USILA All-America second team selection Joey Pezzimenti leads the team in points with eight goals and 10 assists. The Dolphins return 34 letterwinners from last year's 17-1 squad, which appeared in the NCAA Division II semifinals for the 17th time in the last 21 full seasons. Head Coach Dan Sheehan has guided Le Moyne to six Division II national championships, including the school's first in 2004.
