Scouting Cornell
- The Big Red enters the weekend with a 5-2 overall record (2-0 Ivy).
- Cornell is coming off a 13-11 victory over No. 3 Princeton on Saturday.
- In the win, the Big Red scored five goals in the opening quarter and held off a pair of Princeton rallies.
- Ryan Goldstein and Willem Firth led the Cornell offense with four and five points apiece. Goldstein had three goals and one assist, while Firth scored two goals and had three assists.
- The Big Red is ranked No. 9 in the latest Inside Lacrosse Media Poll, was picked to finish second in the Ivy League Preseason Poll and is coming off a national championship after defeating Maryland 13-10. The title marked the program's first NCAA title in 48 years.
- Cornell owns a 57-30-1 record against the Bulldogs, including 31-12 at home.
