Throwers Finish up Day Two of Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA – Three members of the Yale men's track and field team competed on day two of the Penn Relays Friday. They performed well, with strong placings among some of the best in the country.

  • In the discus throw Nathan Lebowitz set a huge PR of 53.85 meters to place second. Chris Ward had a solid day with his best mark of 51.35 meters placing him fifth. Nolan Recker was closely behind with a distance of 50.73 meters.
  • Ward returned for the shot put and threw 15.92 meters.
