CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Yale coed sailing team took third at the 2024 Intercollegiate Sailing Association (ICSA) Open Team Race National Championships. The squad sailed out of Cambridge, Mass., hosted by Harvard and MIT.
The race was called for time following the round of eight, with Roger Williams winning the overall title with an 18-4 record. Harvard finished just behind with an identical record, but the Crimson were deducted .5 wins because of a penalty. The Bulldogs placed third with a 15-7 record. Brown and Stanford rounded out the top five.

How It Happened
- In the round of 16, Yale posted a 11-4 record, taking down Stanford, Dartmouth, Brown, Coast Guard, Navy, MIT, Charleston, Boston College, Tulane, Tufts and Wisconsin. The Bulldogs fell to Harvard, Roger Williams, Georgetown, and St. Mary's.
- Yale had a closely-contested round of eight, which saw them post a 4-3 record, recording wins against Dartmouth, Stanford, Georgetown and Coast Guard.
