PRINCETON, N.J. – The Yale men's golf team wrapped up their competition at the Princeton Invitational on the Springdale Golf Course.

The Bulldogs finished fifth out of a field of 14 programs. The Tigers took the crown, while Howard, Seton Hall, and Columbia filed in the 2-3-4 slot ahead of Yale. The Bulldogs shot 19-over par and finished with a total score of 871. Their best round score came in the second frame as the squad shot a 285. They shot a 294 in round one and capped the tournament with a 292 in round three. Â

Will Lodge was the highest finisher for the squad, placing eighth with an overall score of 213, a seven-stroke improvement from the last tournament. Lodge's 67 in the first round was a season-best for the sophomore.
Ben Carpenter placed in a three-way tie for ninth with a score of 214, also an improvement from last tournament by five strokes.

Sam Davis finished in a tie for 13th, the highest of any participant competing as an individual. The next highest individual placed 52nd.
