Reimer, Foley Selected for ICSA Singlehanded National Championships

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The selections have been made for the College Sailing Fall National Championships. The Open and Women's Singlehanded National Championships will be hosted by Old Dominion University on Nov. 8–9, 2025.

Junior Mathias Reimer and sophomore Audrey Foley were the Yale participants chosen as at-large selections for the open and women's events, respectively.

Reimer placed fifth at the NEISA Singlehanded Championships earlier this fall. He will compete in the ICSA National Championship for the second consecutive year after a strong showing last season, when he placed third overall.

Foley finished sixth at the NEISA Women's Singlehanded Championships in September. As a first-year student, she competed at the ICSA Women's Singlehanded Championships, placing ninth out of 18 competitors.

Criteria for selection for the Open Singlehanded and Women's Singlehanded National Championships include performances at ICSA single- and doublehanded regattas throughout each candidate's ICSA career. Non-ICSA events are not considered, and geographic distribution is also not taken into account.
