NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Two members of the Yale volleyball team have been recognized for their achievements on the court and in the classroom.
Betsy Goodenow and
Lauren Kellen have been named Academic All-District by the College Sports Communicators.
Yale finished the year with a 15-9 overall record and a 10-4 Ivy mark. The Bulldogs advanced to their fourth-straight Ivy League Tournament final, ultimately falling to the hosting Princeton Tigers in five sets.
Goodenow, an ethics, politics and economics major played in 16 matches for the Bulldogs this season, averaging 2.44 kills per set. This is her second-straight Academic All-District honor.
Kellen, an environmental studies major, earned her first Academic All-District nod. She appeared in 22 matches for the Bulldogs, recording 147 kills and 34 total blocks.
