Men's Swimming & Diving Set for Ivy League Championships

NEW HAVEN, Conn. –  The Yale men's swimming and diving team will compete at the Ivy League Championships this week, hosted by Brown at Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center.

Action kicks off on Wednesday, Feb. 26 with the 200-yard medley relay followed by the 800-yard freestyle relay. Competition continues through Saturday, Mar. 1. Each day will start with prelims beginning at 11 a.m. before the 6 p.m. event finals. All sessions will be featured on ESPN+.

Quick Facts
  • The Bulldogs finished the regular season with a 7-1 dual meet record and 6-1 in Ivy action.
  • Yale last competed at the HYP meet, and defeated Harvard 184.00-163.00 while breaking three pool records in the process and six total over the course of the two-day meet. 
  • On the final day of HYP, pool records broken were Charlie Egeland in the 200 breaststroke with a time of 1:55.31, Noah Millard in the 500 free with a time of 4:15.43, and Nick Finch in the 100 butterfly with a time of 45.95. 
  • Last year at the Ivy Championship, Yale finished third, accumulating 1,030 points over four days. Harvard won with 1,682 points, followed by second-place Princeton (1,321).
