Box Score 2 PRINCETON, N.J. – The Yale softball team suffered two defeats on the road against Princeton on Sunday, losing both games of a doubleheader by scores of 9-0 and 2-0. The Bulldogs' overall record now stands at 15-16 (5-4 Ivy League), while the Tigers improved to 11-12 overall (6-0 Ivy League).
Game 1: Princeton 9, Yale 0
- B3 | The Tigers took control of the game, scoring eight runs on four hits. (Princeton 8, Yale 0)
- B4 | Princeton added another run with a two-out RBI single. (Princeton 9, Yale 0)
- Final: Princeton held Yale scoreless in the top of the fifth inning, enacting the run rule to end the game.
Game 1 Notes:
- Sophie Woodridge recorded the only extra-base hit for the Bulldogs, hitting a double in the top of the fourth inning.
- Elena Ohe made an impressive diving play in the bottom of the third inning, contributing to the Bulldogs' defense.
Game 2: Princeton 2, Yale 0
- B6 | Princeton broke the scoreless tie with a two-RBI single. (Princeton 2, Yale 0)
- Final: The Tigers' late offensive push proved to be the deciding factor in the game.
Game 2 Notes:
- SJ Mull was the only Bulldog to reach base multiple times in the game, going 1-for-1 with a single and a walk. Mull also stole a base in the fifth inning.
- Emma Taylor pitched well in the loss, going 5.2 innings with two strikeouts and allowing two runs.

The Bulldogs will return home to 5K Corral Field At DeWitt Family Stadium to face Sacred Heart in a midweek doubleheader on Wednesday, April 2. The first game is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m. in New Haven.
