ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. -- The Yale women's sailing team placed fourth at the ICSA Fleet Race National Championships on Friday afternoon. The Bulldogs reached the finals after placing first in their semifinal regatta from May 20-21.
Stanford won the team title with 198 points. Tulane placed second (209) followed by Harvard (223), Yale (250), and Cornell (250).
In the 'A' division, Yale took eighth place overall with 142Â points.
Emma Cowles and
Mia Nicolosi served as skippers with crew members,
Jessi Avila-Shah,
Sarah Moeder, and
Ximena Escobar. The sailors in the 'A' division recorded four top-five finishes.
Carmen Cowles skippered in the 'B' division for Yale with crew,
Carmen Berg and
Julia Miller. The Bulldogs placed third in the division while recording seven top-five finishes.Â
The Yale coed squad will wrap up the 2025 season at the ICSA Open Fleet Race National Championships beginning on May 27.Â
