PRINCETON, N.J. – Three members of the Yale softball team received year-end honors from the Ivy League, as announced on Wednesday, May 7.
Captain SJ Mull and Isabella Fortini were named Second Team All-Ivy following standout seasons for the Bulldogs. Mull was recognized as a utility player, while Fortini earned the honor at catcher.
Mull received her first career All-Ivy recognition after a breakout year. A versatile veteran, she contributed in both the outfield and at second base. The Slidell, La., native appeared in 42 games with 38 starts, tallying a career-high 29 hits, 10 RBI, and a team-best 13 stolen bases.
Fortini earned All-Ivy honors for the second time in her career, having been named Honorable Mention as a utility player during her first season at Yale. This year, she was one of just three Bulldogs to start all 46 games. She posted a .325 batting average and a .441 on-base percentage, with 41 hits, including 13 for extra bases, seven stolen bases, and a .437 slugging percentage.
Emma Taylor, an environmental studies major, was named Yale's Academic All-Ivy selection.
