BOSTON – A handful of athletes from the Yale men's track and field team competed on the first day of the IC4A Championships Saturday at BU's Track and Tennis Center. Yale's top finish came from junior Amaré Fields, who took fourth in the 800m with a time of 1:52.05. Maine's Kaleb Colson (1:51.04) won. 
 
The meet includes nearly two dozen schools from throughout the region, including one of Yale's Ivy rivals (Brown). Competition concludes Sunday.
