NEW YORK – The Yale women's track and field team concluded competition at the Ivy League Heptagonal Indoor Track and Field Championships Sunday at The Armory. The Bulldogs finished fifth with 54 points. That tied for Yale's second-highest point total since scoring 85 in 2006 (the Bulldogs scored 56 points in 2022 and 54 points last year).
Junior
Lucija Grd won the Ivy League 60m hurdles championship with a time of 8.29 on Sunday, edging Harvard's Abby Dennis (8.35). Grd becomes the first Yale woman to win the Ivy 60m hurdles championship. She also tied her own school record in the process.
Junior
Juliette Kosmont provided another highlight on Sunday, placing second in the 60m with a time of 7.40. Penn's Fore Abinusawa won (7.25). On Saturday in the prelims Kosmont broke her own school record in the 60m with a time of 7.30, which ranks No. 3 all-time at Heps among all schools. Abinusawa (7.22, 2026) and Harvard's Gabrielle Thomas (7.25, 2018) are the only Ivy Leaguers to have run faster than Kosmont at Heps.
