Cohen Named Ivy League Pitcher of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. -- Senior right-hander Daniel Cohen of the Yale baseball team was named Ivy League Pitcher of the Week as announced by the conference on Tuesday afternoon.

Cohen pitched the best game of his college career in an utterly dominant effort on Sunday in a win over Penn. Cohen tossed a complete game shutout while allowing only two hits. He struck out six and did not allow a walk. He retired the final 23 hitters he faced. The senior pitched the first complete game of his collegiate career. His previous longest outing was 7.1 innings in 2024. He threw Yale's first complete game shutout since Jack Ohman accomplished the feat against Columbia last season.

The Bulldogs will play a three-game series against Princeton, beginning on Saturday, March 4.
