NEW HAVEN, Conn. – After capturing the Ivy League title for the first time in 13 years, the Yale women's tennis team earned significant postseason recognition from the league. Head Coach
Rachel Sapir-Kahan and her staff were named Coaching Staff of the Year marking the first time Yale has earned the major award, while
Leena Friedman received Rookie of the Year honors marking the second consecutive year the team has earned the accolade. In addition, three members earned All-Ivy honors.
Orly Ogilvy was named First Team All-Ivy in singles and earned First Team honors in doubles alongside partner Friedman. Friedman additionally received Second Team recognition in singles with
Shyla Aggarwal. Aggarwal also garnered Academic All-Ivy honors.

Michelle Hyun, led Yale to an outstanding season, capturing the program's first Ivy League title since 2013 and the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Championships with a 4–2 victory over Penn on Sunday. The team finished the regular season with a sensational 19–3 record and a 6–1 mark in Ivy League play. The Bulldogs' 19 victories are their most since finishing 20–4 in the 2011–12 season. Yale also won its second consecutive ECAC Indoor Championship title and went undefeated at home for the second straight year, posting an 8–0 record this season.
Friedman had a stellar first season as a Bulldog, finishing as the highest-ranked first-year player in the league competing in the lineup at No. 2. The Quogue, New York native posted a 10–4 spring singles record, including four Ivy League wins, highlighted by straight-set victories over Princeton's Bella Chhiv and Penn's Lara Stojanovski. She also delivered a key win against FAU to clinch the match for the Bulldogs.
Ogilvy earned First Team All-Ivy honors for the third straight year. The Mississauga, Ontario native had another solid season while competing at the No. 1 position for Yale. In the spring, Ogilvy posted an overall record of 8–6 and secured two Ivy League victories, including a key straight-sets win over Princeton's No. 89 Alice Ferlito on Saturday. That win marked her second victory over Ferlito after previously defeating her at the ECAC Indoor Championship. Additionally, the junior went 2–0 at the ECAC's.
Ogilvy and Friedman, Yale's top doubles pair at the No. 1 position, posted a strong 11–7 record in the spring, including four wins in Ivy League play. The duo recorded notable victories over Stanford, went undefeated at ECACs, and clinched a key match against Princeton during conference action. They also delivered a historic fall season, earning All-American honors and becoming the first doubles pair in program history to advance to the NCAA quarterfinals.
Aggarwal, an Economics major, has excelled both on and off the court. She earned Second Team honors for the second consecutive year and posted a 13–1 overall record during the spring season, primarily competing at the No. 3 and No. 4 positions. She also recorded five wins in league play, highlighted by a straight-sets victory over Penn's Jo-Leen Saw to clinch the program's Ivy League title.
